◎ 又諸功德,未生不生,已生退失,如《現在諸佛現證三摩地王經》云:「若彼於師住嫌恨心,或堅惡心,或恚惱心,能得功德,無有是處。若不能作大師想者亦復如是。
Furthermore, good qualities that have not yet developed will not develop, and those that have been developed will degenerate and then disappear. The 《Sūtra on the Concentration Which Perceives the Buddha of the Present Face to Face》 states: If the students remain resentful, intractable, or hostile toward the guru, they have no way to obtain good qualities. It is also the same if they do not develop the idea that the teacher is indistinguishable from the Teacher.
還有,依止善知識的種種勝利,還沒有生起的就不再生起,原來已經生起的也會退失。就像《現在諸佛現證三摩地經》中所說:「如果他對上師存有厭惡懷恨的心,或者存有牢固的不堪忍心,或者存有瞋恚煩惱心,這種人能夠獲得功德,絕對沒有這回事。如果對上師不能起如佛想的人,亦即絕不可能獲得功德。
- ◎ 又諸功德, Furthermore, good qualities還有,(依止善知識的)種種勝利
- 未生不生, that have not yet developed will not develop, 還沒有生起的就不再生起
- 已生退失, and those that have been developed will degenerate and then disappear. 原來已經生起的也會退失

- 若不能作大師想者 if they do not develop the idea that the teacher is indistinguishable from the Teacher. 如果對上師不能起如佛想的人。在這裡的Teacher就是佛,indistinguishable就是沒有分別,佛家的講法叫做無二無別
- 亦復如是。 It is also the same其情形也是一樣。亦即絕不可能獲得功德
