If an ingnorant one is aware of his own ignorance, his ignorance is still curable. If an ignorant one is unaware of his own ignorance and remains self-complacent, his ignorance would be hardly remedied. If the ignorance persists, it will become karmic impressions in the flow of continuity of sameness, which will harm himself. If he steps further by affecting others either in speech or in action, that will harm others. – Master Jih Chang
