於尊重所，特應棄捨一切尋察過心，修觀德心。
此復應如彼續所說，依之而行，「應取軌範德，終不應執過，取德得成就，執眾過不成。」
Likewise, completely cast aside your conception of faults in the guru, and train yourself to discern the guru's good qualities.
That is, do as it states in the tantra cited above, the Tantra Bestowing the Initiation of Vajrapāni: Keep the masters' good qualities in mind never seize upon their faults. Keeping their good qualities in mind, you will reach attainments. Seizing upon their faults, you will not.
對上師也會刻意地徹底斷除觀過，並修習觀察功德之心。
前面那部續（也就是《金剛手灌頂續》）中有提到「弟子應該直取阿闍離的功德，在任何時候都不能夠刻意執取過失。因為如果能夠在內心執取上師的功德，則弟子將會獲得成就；而如果執取眾多過失，則不會有任何成就」，應該如此而行

• 於尊重所，特應棄捨一切尋察過心，Likewise, completely cast aside your conception of faults in the guru對上師，特別應該捨棄一切尋求過失的心
• 修觀德心。and train yourself to discern the guru's good qualities. 而修習觀察功德的心
• 此復應如彼續所說，依之而行，That is, do as it states in the tantra cited above, the Tantra Bestowing the Initiation of Vajrapāni此外，應該像那部續（也就是《金剛手灌頂續》）所說的，依照這個道理去做
• 「應取軌範德，終不應執過，Keep the masters' good qualities in mind never seize upon their faults. 應該取著軌範師的功德，自始至終都不應該執著其過失
• 取德得成就，Keeping their good qualities in mind, you will reach attainments. 取著其功德才能夠獲得成就
• 執眾過不成。」Seizing upon their faults, you will not. 執著其種種過失則得不到成就
