如於大師信敬愛樂,於親教師亦應信樂,於軌範師悉當發起恭敬承事。由此因緣菩提資糧,未圓滿者悉能圓滿,煩惱未斷悉能斷除。如是思已,便能獲得歡喜踴躍,於諸善法應隨順行,於不善法應不順行。」
Just as you have a liking for and faith in the Teacher, so too you should have a liking for and faith in the abbot. Develop reverence for your masters and serve them. Think that you will complete the collections that lead to enlightenment and eliminate the afflictions that you still have in dependence on this. Then you will obtain pleasure and joy. With respect to virtue act in accord with the gurus' words, but do not act in accord with the gurus' words with respect to nonvirtue.
就如同怎樣的歡喜與信仰導師,也應該同樣的歡喜與信仰親教師。應當恭敬承事軌範師。藉此未圓滿的菩提資糧都將圓滿,未斷除的煩惱將能斷除。如此思維,便會獲得歡喜踴躍。對於善法應當順從而行,對於不善法則應該不順從
- 如於大師信敬愛樂, Just as you have a liking for and faith in the Teacher, 就好像我們對佛有信心、有恭敬心、有好樂心和歡喜心
- 於親教師亦應信樂, so too you should have a liking for and faith in the abbot. 我們對親教師也同樣應該有信心、有恭敬心、有好樂心和歡喜心
- 於軌範師悉當發起恭敬承事。 Develop reverence for your masters and serve them. 對於軌範師也都應當生起恭敬承事的心
- 由此因緣 that you still have in dependence on this. 由於這個原因(this也就是「於親教師亦應信樂,於軌範師悉當發起恭敬承事」)
- 菩提資糧,未圓滿者悉能圓滿, you will complete the collections that lead to enlightenment成就菩提的資糧還未圓滿的人都能夠獲得圓滿
- 煩惱未斷悉能斷除。 and eliminate the afflictions煩惱還未斷除的人都能獲得斷除
- 如是思已, Think that照這樣思惟之後,
- 便能獲得歡喜踴躍, Then you will obtain pleasure and joy.就能夠很高興很積極
- 於諸善法應隨順行, With respect to virtue act in accord with the gurus' words,
- 於不善法應不順行。」 but do not act in accord with the gurus' words with respect to nonvirtue. 對於一切不善法應該不隨順行持
