其信總之亦有多種，謂信三寶，業果，四諦，然此中者，謂信尊重。此復弟子於尊重所，應如何觀。如《金剛手灌頂續》云：「秘密主，弟子於阿闍黎所應如何觀，如於佛薄伽梵即應如是。其心若如是，其善常生長，彼當速成佛，利一切世間。」
In general, faith is of many types—faith in the three jewels, faith in karma and its effects. faith in the four noble truths. However, here we are speaking of faith in the guru. With regard to how disciples should view their gurus, the 《Tantra Bestowing the Initiation of Vajrapāni》 says: If you would ask, O Lord of Secrets, how disciples should view masters, then I would answer that they should view them just as they view the Bhagavan. If the disciples view their masters in this way, they will always cultivate virtues. They will become buddhas and benefit the entire world.
一般而言，信心有許多種，如信三寶、業果、四諦等；但此處則是指信上師。而弟子應該如何看待上師？《金剛手灌頂續》中說：「秘密主！弟子應當如何看待阿闍黎？應該向對佛事尊那樣看待上師。弟子的內心如果是這樣，就能恆常不斷地生長善法。他將成就佛果，利益一切世間。」

- 其心若如是 If the disciples view their masters in this way 他的心如果像這樣
- 其善常生長 they will always cultivate virtues 他的善根就會經常增長
- 彼當速成佛 They will become buddhas and 那麼他一定很快就能成佛
- 利一切世間。」 benefit the entire world. 利益世間一切有情
