◎ 又如《華嚴經》云：「我此知識說正法，普示一切法功德，遍示菩薩威儀道，專心思惟而來此。此是能生如我母，與德乳故如乳母，周遍長養菩提分，此諸善識遮無利，解脫老死如醫王，如天帝釋降甘雨，增廣白法如滿月，猶日光明示靜品，
Furthermore, the 《Array of Stalks Sūtra》 says: I, Sudhana, have come here thinking one-pointedly, "These are my teachers, instructors in the teachings, the ones who totally reveal the good qualities of all things, and then fully teach the bodhisattva way of life. Because of giving birth to these qualities in me, they are like my mother. Because of giving me the milk of good qualities, they are like my wet nurses. They thoroughly train me in the branches of enlightenment. These teachers turn away agents of harm; Like doctors, they free me from old age and death. Like Indra, the chief of the deities, they let a rain of nectar fall; Like the full moon, they fill me with the white teachings of virtue; Showing the way toward peace, they are like the light of the sun;
另外《華嚴經》中也說：「專注思維，我這位善知識 -- 說法師，普示一切法功德，全面闡述菩薩行儀」而來到這裡。他們能令我的心續中生出眾多的佛子行，好似我的生母；能夠餵哺功德之乳，所以又似乳母；全面培養菩提的支分，這些善知識們，完全遮止各種損害，令我脫離老死如同醫王；降下甘露雨，有如帝釋天王；增廣白法，如同滿月，顯示寂靜方向，宛如朗日。

• 又如《華嚴經》云： Furthermore, the 《Array of Stalks Sūtra》 says: 又如《華嚴經》所說
• 「我此知識說正法， "These are my teachers, instructors in the teachings, 我的善知識宣說正法
• 普示一切法功德， the ones who totally reveal the good qualities of all things, 為我充分開示一切法的功德
• 遍示菩薩威儀道， and then fully teach the bodhisattva way of life." 為我詳細開示菩薩行住坐臥的威德儀則
• 專心思惟而來此。 I, Sudhana, have come here thinking one-pointedly, 我是為了專心思惟這些恩德而來這裡的
• 此是能生如我母， Because of giving birth to these qualities in me, they are like my mother. 善知識能令我的心續中生出眾多的佛子行，好似我的生母
• 與德乳故如乳母， Because of giving me the milk of good qualities, they are like my wet nurses. 給我功德奶水，所以就像養育我的奶媽一般
• 周遍長養菩提分， They thoroughly train me in the branches of enlightenment. 充分而完善地長養所有的菩提支分
• 此諸善識遮無利， These teachers turn away agents of harm; 這位善知識教導我遮止沒有利益的東西
• 解脫老死如醫王， Like doctors, they free me from old age and death. 像醫王一樣，使我能夠從老死解脫
• 如天帝釋降甘雨， Like Indra, the chief of the deities, they let a rain of nectar fall; 像忉利天之主普降甘露法雨
• 增廣白法如滿月， they let a rain of nectar fall; Like the full moon, they fill me with the white teachings of virtue; 使我的白法增長廣大，像月亮那樣圓滿
• 猶日光明示靜品， Showing the way toward peace, they are like the light of the sun; 像太陽一樣，（為我）明白顯示寂靜涅槃的境地
