其中調伏者，謂尸羅學。《別解脫》云「心馬常馳奔，恆勵終難制，百利針順銜，即此別解脫。」
With respect to what Maitreya said, "disciplined" refers to the training in ethical discipline. The 《Sūtra on the Vows of Individual Liberation》 states: These vows of individual liberation are the bridle set with sharp nails. With constant effort they are fit for the difficult-to-rein horse of the straying mind.

尸羅學training in ethical discipline，字面上是「道德約束上的訓練」，其實就是「戒」，原文叫做sila，所以翻譯成「尸羅」
《別解脫》Sūtra on the Vows of Individual Liberation，Sūtra經、Vows誓願、Individual個別的、Liberation解放，意思是這部經典的內容可以引導眾生從各種不同的痛苦中解脫出來
百利針順銜the bridle set with sharp nails有很多尖銳釘子的銜(bridle一種裝在馬嘴上的鐵器，用來控制馬匹)
心馬常馳奔the difficult-to-rein horse of the straying mind，迷亂的心智就是straying mind，rein用韁繩駕馭
