第三彼應如何依師軌理者。如是若自具足器相，應善觀察尊重具否如前說相。應於具相，受取法益。是復有二傳記不同，謂善知識敦巴與桑樸瓦。
How the student relies upon the teacher
One who has these qualifications of a suitable recipient of the teachings should investigate well whether a guru has the requisite characteristics as explained above. Then this student should receive the teaching's kind words from a qualified teacher. Even so, the biographies of Geshe Drom-dón-ba and Sung-pu-wa are not in accord with each other.
第三、弟子如何依止善知識的軌理
如此具備學法條件的人，應該如上述所說，善為觀察上師是否合格，並在合格的上師跟前領受法恩，關於這一點，善知識敦巴與桑樸瓦二人的行誼有所不同。

- 受取法益 receive the teaching's kind words接受佛法的利益
- 是復 Even so 即便是如此
- 有二傳記不同 the biographies of… are not in accord with each other. 兩位大德傳記裡面描述的行誼有所不同
- 謂善知識敦巴與桑樸瓦 Geshe Drom-dón-ba and Sung-pu-wa 就是敦巴與桑樸瓦 Geshe 就是「格西」
