如是亦如《華嚴經》云：「善男子，若諸菩薩，為善知識正所攝受，不墮惡趣。若諸菩薩，為善知識所思念者，則不違越菩薩學處。若諸菩薩，為善知識所守護者，勝出世間。若諸菩薩，承事供養善知識者，於一切行不忘而行。若諸菩薩，為善知識所攝持者，諸業煩惱難以取勝。」
In that vein the 《Array of Stalks Sūtra》 says: Child of good lineage, bodhisattvas whom teachers properly support do not fall into miserable realms. Bodhisattvas whom teachers take into consideration do not contradict the bodhisattva training. Bodhisattvas for whom teachers care are elevated above the world. Bodhisattvas who have served and respected their teachers act without forgetting any of the bodhisattva deeds. Bodhisattvas whom teachers fully look after are not overcome by bad karma or afflictions.
這些殊勝利益也像《華嚴經》中所說的：善男子們。如果每個發了菩提心，受持菩薩戒的修行者，獲得善知識如理如法的攝受，就不致於墮入惡趣。受持菩薩戒的修行者，如果獲得善知識憶念，就不會違越菩薩戒。受持菩薩戒的修行者，如果獲得善知識守護，就遠勝於世間的一切。受持菩薩戒的修行者，如果承事供養善知識，對於所有的菩薩行就不會忘失，而且都能如實行持。受持菩薩戒的修行者，如果獲得善知識的攝持，所有的惡業與煩惱都難以戰勝他。
- 如是亦如《華嚴經》云： In that vein the 《Array of Stalks Sūtra》 says: 這些（殊勝利益）也像《華嚴經》中所說的
- 「善男子， Child of good lineage, 經典中佛對在家男信眾之慣用稱呼。對於在家女信眾則稱善女人，或謂此乃優婆塞、優婆夷之義譯
- 若諸菩薩， bodhisattvas如果每個發了菩提心，受持菩薩戒的修行者
- 為善知識正所攝受， whom teachers properly support獲得善知識如理如法的攝受
- 不墮惡趣。 do not fall into miserable realms. 就）不致於墮入惡趣
- 為善知識所思念者， whom teachers take into consideration 獲得善知識憶念
- 則不違越菩薩學處。 do not contradict the bodhisattva training. 那麼（就）不會違越菩薩戒
- 為善知識所守護者， for whom teachers care 獲得善知識守護
- 勝出世間。 are elevated above the world. 遠勝於世間的一切
- 承事供養善知識者， who have served and respected their teachers 承事供養善知識
- 於一切行不忘而行。 act without forgetting any of the bodhisattva deeds. 對於所有的菩薩行都不忘失，而且都能如實行持
- 為善知識所攝持者， whom teachers fully look after 獲得善知識的攝持
- 諸業煩惱難以取勝。」 are not overcome by bad karma or afflictions. 所有的惡業與煩惱都難以占上風
